We keep the membership deliberately small, so admission is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every request is read in confidence, and every request is answered.
The fit
The process
A few key details - who you are, what you've built, and where you're heading. No essays.
Every request is read by the founders, in confidence, and every request is answered. There is no screening software and no junior gatekeeper.
We talk - about your business, your timing, and whether the room as it stands can help you. It is as much your chance to weigh us.
A seat is considered against the membership as it stands - including by the members you would sit alongside. Fit protects everyone's time, yours included.
When we can help, we'll offer you a seat. If the timing isn't right, we'll say so plainly, and the door stays open.
Questions
£1,000 a month, on a twelve-month term. The fee is typically treated as a business expense. There is no joining fee and no percentage of your sale.
What your company is worth - and whether you might one day sell it - is about the most commercially sensitive information there is. So confidentiality is not a feature of Rare Company; it is the precondition. No notes, no quotes, no exceptions.
You apply below. We read everything, reply to everyone, and then we talk. When we can help you, we'll offer you a seat.
The application
About four minutes. Every application is read in confidence by the founders, answered within days, and commits you to nothing - a conversation follows before anything else. Circles are local: your application also counts as a request for a Circle in your city, and new Circles open where enough serious owners apply.
Every application is read by the two of us, and we reply to everyone. If Rare Company is right for you, you'll hear from us directly.
- Eddie & Astan
Common happens by default. Rare is made - in rare company.
